Packers cornerback Frank Walker might not return to the team because he apparently thinks he’s better than he is.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said recently that Terrell Owens will be back. The move makes sense to me because you can’t replace all that unnecessary crying through the draft. I have no problem with grown men crying, but over whether or not your QB gets ripped for a Mexican vacation? Why would you care? It’s called being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. He’ll live.
Packers Chairman Bob Harlan said the Packers locker room after the game was “the quietest I’ve ever seen in my life.” That’s not difficult to imagine. Downtrodden people with frozen faces tend to be on the quiet side.
James Lofton was just fired as the wide receivers coach of the San Diego Chargers. Wow, that’s surprising. Chris Chambers played well in the playoffs. Vincent Jackson began to emerge as a legitimate target for Philip Rivers. Was Norv Turner pissed that first-round pick Craig Davis didn’t do squat this season?
The Dallas Cowboys are hemorrhaging assistant coaches. Secondary coach Todd Bowles, defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers and linebackers coach Paul Pasqualoni didn’t re-sign with the Cowboys when they were offered contracts back on January 13th. As of today they are free to go and there are several teams reportedly interested. I’m sure Bill Parcells will call shortly.
