MOSS DEAL DONE
A league source tells us that the Patriots and receiver Randy Moss have agreed to a new contract.  Per the source, the deal is for three years, $27 million.
The contract hasn’t been signed, and the language is being finalized.
It’s unknown how much of the deal is guaranteed, signing bonus, etc.

Could this be what Larry Fitzgerald was waiting for? It is possible that Eugene Parker, Fitzgerald’s agent, was waiting for Moss to get signed so the bar would be set? So far, there hasn’t been any successful negotiations in restructuring Fitzgerald’s contract. In raw numbers, Fitzgerald is set to make a lot of money this year and more money the following year. Out in Arizona, it’s been pretty much dead silent since free agency started, but reports our indicating that the Cardinals want to start pursuing free agents to build up their defense. However, the future of Fitzgerald will determine how much the Cardinals can spend. Stay tuned to Off The Record for Larry Fitzgerald updates. We are currently trying to get updates from the source that broke us the news on Asante Samuel.
