I wanted nothing more than Belmont to win last night. I can’t stand looking at the Coach K face any more. He looks like he is made of plastic. If he’s not coaching his players to play an unorganized offense, he’s yelling at refs. I don’t care how many wins he has, his team sucks and he couldn’t even coach the best basketball players in the world last Olympics. He is overrated. Duke gets a great recruiting class every single year because ESPN hypes Duke and televises them more than the Democratic candidates suck and lately they have done nothing, squat, nada. I can’t wait ’til West Virginia spanks them. Is it a coincidence that Coach K. players suck in the NBA? They never win. He doesn’t prepare them to play at the next level. It’s so irritating how much praise Duke and Coach K. get. What have they done lately? NOTHING!!!

Alright I got that out. Let me say a couple good things about them. They play very aggressive defense and pressure the ball like no other team. That and Gerald Henderson won it for them last night. Belmont is a really bad team. They have nobody. And they couldn’t handle the pressure of the D and made horrible decisions with the ball.

More on Gerald Henderson. He is the ONLY player on Duke that has any kind of game. I do like him a lot as a player and see him being a good player at the next level. I hated that Duke won last night, but didn’t mind that Henderson made the game winner. He took that game over at the end and won it for his team. There isn’t any other player on Duke that had an impact on that game as much as Henderson. If they would stop throwing up so many stupid shots and get Henderson involved more, they would be a better team. I have no clue why Coach K. doesn’t run an offense through their best player. It doesn’t make any sense. We need to stop acknowledging Coach K. as some great being. He isn’t. He’s a mediocre coach that benefits from getting great shooters every year. With the amount of talent he gets, Duke should contend more than they do.

One more thing that annoyed me last night. Why the hell was the Duke game on when Michael Beasley and O.J. Mayo were squaring off against one another? We were stuck watching an unorganized, three-point shooting, slopfest of a game that was only good because it was close instead of watching two players who are going to be NBA stars for years to come? Why?
