With the Phillies trailing by one run in the ninth inning against the Colorado Rockies, up came Pat Burrell with the bases loaded. And he delivered yet again. For the 21st straight game of “being awesome” to start the season (longest active streak), The Bat cleared the bases by launching a double to deep center. Brad Lidge closed the game in the bottom half and the Phillies were victorious over the Rockies 8-6.
There is no question that Pat Burrell is the best major league baseball player in all the land. He leads the entire league (National and American) in RBIs (22) and is second in homeruns (7). Not to mention he plays left field like a Frisbee dog, catching everything.

MVP!!! MVP!!! MVP!!!
It’s not too early yet is it?
That is some funny stuff. Pat Burrell is definately a favorite. He runs like a gazelle?
