Wow, nothing funny about this. Thanks to Lindsey for tipping us off. Rangers bad boy Sean Avery was reportedly hospitalized early this morning with a lacerated spleen. Not the case. Now, it is being reported that Avery was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest. Avery was unconscious and not breathing.

We guess it could be both the spleen and cardiac arrest. We’ll see.

There is no further information at this time.

Update: Ok, we are already annoyed with this story. It looks like it’s the spleen.  We hope he’s ok.  That said though, from this picture, he sure looks like a dick tough player.
