In two separate stories, ex-Arizona Cardinals decided to explore the art of possessing and distributing cocaine. OTR understands it might be tough to mentally recover from playing for one of the worst organizations in sports, but selling cocaine shouldn’t be step one in the process. Let’s find out who these turds are.
First turd Dyshod Carter, a Cardinals cornerback in 2004 and 2005, was charged with conspiracy and attempt to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine. The Arizona Cardinals signed Carter to its active roster in September 2004 where he played a total of eight games in two seasons. He collected an earth-shattering nine tackles, one forced fumble, and one deflected pass. Therefore, his stat line reads 9-1-1.
Second turd Luis Sharpe, a Cardinals tackle in 1994 (his last year), was sentenced Friday to six years in prison and four years’ probation for a series of drug offenses. One of those drug offenses was possessing crack cocaine. Sharpe has been convicted of nine felonies since 1995 and spent several months in prison after a drug conviction in 2000. He also was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison in 2004 on other drug charges. Bottom line, this guy loves drugs.
