ryan-leaf.jpgThe Atlanta Falcons have signed their first round pick (3rd overall) Matt Ryan to a six-year, $72 million contract with a $34.75 million bonus. If this contract doesn’t have bust written all over it then I don’t know what does.

Obviously, the idea was to sign Ryan and get the QB right into camp without any controversies. Now, Ryan can concentrate on winning the starting quarterback spot over Joey Harrington which will be almost as easy as quenching your thirst with an ice cold Budweiser.

Perry I thought the same thing. Over $34 million guaranteed to a guy that has as much NFL experience as you and I combined.

I was wrong. I’m glad to see him perform well. Looks like the Falcons have something special.

Got something to say?
