Thanks to Kevin for tipping us off on this one. Mark Madden of Pittsburgh’s ESPN Radio has been fired for his inflammatory comments regarding Senator Ted Kennedy.

“I’m very disappointed to hear Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts is near death because of a brain tumor,” said Madden. “I always hoped Senator Kennedy would live long enough to be assassinated.”

Yeeeeah….probably on the tasteless side. His time on air probably would have been better spent talking about what Rashard Mendenhall or Limas Sweed would bring to the Steelers offense.
