PFT: Ravens work out FredEx

May 29, 2008

freddiemitchell.jpgIt doesn’t seem like Harbaugh was one of the guys who decided to cut Freddie Mitchell in Philly. According to PFT, the Ravens worked out better-than-people-gave-him-credit-for WR Freddie Mitchell.

He isn’t that old and I never fully understood why he was out of football so quickly after being the #3 WR on a Super Bowl team. He wasn’t nearly as bad as you’d think based on a lot of the rhetoric in Philadelphia.

He blew. Admit it. If he played for any other team you’d consider him average at best.

  2. Micah Warren says:

I consider him average at best as it is. But people talk about him like he was a total waste and that’s not true.

  3. Vince says:

    Remember 4th and 26.

  4. Stein says:

Maybe Perry will have a chance to wear his Freddie Mitchell jersey again?

  5. Dan says:

If he keeps his mouth shut and catches the ball I’ll accept him on my team.

  6. Perry says:

He was always open when I was at the games. I saw it first hand. They just never threw to him.

  7. Chad says:

He was open because he wasn’t running the right route. McNabb would look to see where he should have been and he was across the field. You can’t throw to what you can’t find.

  8. Perry says:

Find my foot in YOUR FACE!!!

  9. Dan says:

I just realized that Freddy looks like Lamont from Sanford and Son in this photo.
