I’m not going to write about last night’s Detroit/Celtics game. Actually I’ll say one thing. How many times will Detroit play 24 seconds of awesome defense only to have someone on the Celtics throw up a horrible shot that banks in with zero time left on the shot clock? It’s absolute garbage. Detroit is the better team and it’s getting ridiculous. I could rant for hours, but I’m not.
“The NBA has announced that beginning next season there will be fines levied for obvious “flops”. No word on how much they will cost, whether the fines will escalate for repeat offenders, or whether suspensions will be an option.”
“Anderson Varejao’s defensive abilities just decreased by 40%. Coincidentally (and ironically) Rasheed Wallace went on a post-game rant about flopping on Wednesday, for which he will likely be fined. A censored excerpt: “All that bull(bleep)-ass calls they had out there…you’ve all seen that (bleep),” Wallace said. “The cats are flopping all over the floor and they’re calling that (bleep). That (bleep) ain’t basketball out there. It’s all (bleeping) entertainment.” For once, it appears the league agrees with Sheed (rotoworld.com).”

Not only Varejao, but every Euro players stock just dropped by 40%. We’ll see ho great Ginobli is without his arms flailing all over the place and hitting the floor after every drive.
