LaRon Landry and Shawn Springs no-shows at OTA’s
June 2, 2008
We’re confused. Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said he hadn’t heard from LaRon Landry or Shawn Springs as far as them not showing up to OTA’s. Meaning, their absences were unexcused. Yet, the workouts are voluntary.
Well…which is it?
Zorn said: “I’m going to try to get a feel for why they didn’t want to come … It’s not something that I’m going to make a huge spectacle of. We’ll just see what happens.”
We think the NFL needs to clean up this mess with the OTA’s. How can a coach say he didn’t excuse a guy from a practice he didn’t have to attend?

Some of these guys do their own offseason workouts. I seem to remember a really great reciever once (Jerry Rice or something), who did his own training and people were cool with it.
We need to talk about your flare. You see 15 pieces of flare is the minimum. Brian, for example, has 37 pieces of flare. If you feel that the bare minimum is enough, ok. Some people choose to wear more and we encourage that.
Haha… that’s great!
