Chris Wilcox carries heat

Straight from ESPN’s mouth, “Seattle SuperSonics forward Chris Wilcox informed the team he was arrested on Saturday night in North Carolina on a gun charge.”

“Team spokesman Tom Savage said Wilcox was arrested along with a friend in Blanden County on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and was released on $500 bond. The friend also was arrested and released.”

When the ‘could face up to charges’ are released, you will be the first to know.

This isn’t the first time, in June 2005 Wilcox was arrested for a gun charge, but the charges were later dropped because Wilcox was illegally detained by police.

It sucks to be illegally detained. I really hate when that happens.
