Giants TE Jeremy Shockey showed up to mandatory mini camp today, but something isn’t right. Apparently, there is an area on the field for the injured guys, but Shockey (busted leg) never came out of the building.

Head coach Tom Coughlin just spoke to the media and said:

“the players that are here,” and specifically mentioned the “guys over in the injury area (on the side of the field).”

Which begged the question, why wasn’t Shockey over there too?

“That’s between Shockey and I,” Coughlin said.

Asked if there was any particular reason why Shockey would stay inside, Coughlin said, “No, not really.”
