The downside of Ahmad Bradshaw

June 19, 2008

ahmadbradshaw.jpgEveryone in New York was thrilled last year as rookie RB Ahmad Bradshaw helped provide a 1-2 punch in the Giants’ backfield with Brandon Jacobs. That’s all well and good, but there was a reason he was a seventh-round “I’ll take a flyer on him” draft pick and not a third rounder. He had/has off-field issues. And while he spent some time last year in the end zones of opposing defenses, he’s spending his time elsewhere these days. Like jail.

Bradshaw has been in jail in Virginia since June 15th for an undisclosed probation violation.

He was sentenced to two years probation while at Marshall on a 2006 larceny charge. He stole a Playstation from a fellow student’s room.

Nice! I hope the NY Giants implode this year.

**wonders if Bradshaw or Plaxico ever grip up Eli and go through his pockets**
