Curt Schilling told WEEI in Boston this week that his career could be over due to season-ending surgery on his shoulder and bicep.

Schilling said, “there’s a decent chance that I have thrown my last pitch, forever.”

We don’t really buy it. Could his career be over? Hell yes, he’s 41. But, Curt is a drama queen and says stuff like this so that when he does come back and pitch again, everyone thinks, ‘oh my god! He’s come back after he said he’d never pitch again!’

So suck it, Curt. We’ll believe you’ll retire when we see it.
