The 76er free agent wish list includes Elton Brand, Josh Smith or Antawn Jamison. Rumors out of Atlanta are that the Hawks don’t want to go above $11 million per year to sign restricted free agent Josh Smith. If that’s the case, look for Smith to end up in Philadelphia (I don’t see this being the case. In my opinion, Atlanta will do their best in keeping Smith).

The 76ers first choice would be Elton Brand, but rumors out of Clipperland are that he doesn’t want to take a pay cut from the $16 million-plus he’s due next season, except to go to Miami (I don’t see Elton leaving LA).

If the 76ers can’t score Brand or Smith look for them to go after Washington Wizard Antawn Jamison.

The Sixers can start Smith or Jamison at $11 million with 8 percent annual increases.
