OTR to host fantasy football league

etimes.jpgDue to numerous emails from our readers, OTR will be hosting a fantasy football league for the 2008 season.

The site of the league has yet to be determined, but we are familiar with Yahoo. Willing to take suggestions.

We are looking to do a 10-person league. If more than 10, we will shoot for two 10-person leagues.

Rules will be set by yours truly. There will be a live on-line draft that might be blogged, so we can indicate bad picks and good sleeper picks.

Obviously this will be free and for bragging rights only.

This is not for casual fans, this is for diehard football fans.

Please sign up in comments if you are interested. And if you have any ideas/rules to make the league the best ever, feel free to educate.

    No roster requirements! Some leagues tell me I have to have two defenses. And then I say, “I have to find another league.”

    I’ll do my best to limit the # of leagues I am in this year. Six was way too f’ing many last year.

    And….a 10-team league? Is that what you are used to Perry? Let’s reach out to some local kindergarten kids to see if they want to play too. Grow a pair and make it 12, I’ll help you identify the Titans WR’s that you’ll be selecting in the 14th round.

    Don’t count on Derrick Mason, Yamon Figurs, Mark Clayton or Demetrius Williams being there because Dan is playing.

    Dan is one of the boys now. His “I hope that is a bottle of QB talent” comment elevated him instantly to “made man” status on this blog.

    Personally, I like ppr leagues. Thoughts? I know Micah practically invented fantasy football, so I’ll wait for his comment. AP style?
