Current word on the street is that the Orlando Magic and free agent Mickael Pietrus have agreed (verbally) to a multi-year contract for almost all of the mid-level exception, starting at $5.2 million next season.

I’m a big fan of Mickael Pietrus and never understood why Golden State head coach Don Nelson didn’t play him more minutes. This is definitely a good signing by Orlando GM Otis Smith.
