During the offseason it was rumored that Raiders quarterback JaMarcus JaRussell was tipping the scales around 300 pounds. Yesterday, JaMarcus reported to camp weighing in at 269 pounds, one pound under 270.

JaMarcus is gearing up for his first full season in the NFL as the Raiders starting quarterback after being the first overall pick in 2007 NFL draft. He will be looking to turn around a struggling franchise that spent close to $5 billion in free agency. Many believe that owner Al Davis was trying to stimulate the economy with his spending. It didn’t work.
