The St. Louis Rams held their first team meeting today at the start of training camp and running back Steven Jackson was not in attendance. Therefore, Steven Jackson is a holdout.

It is being reported that the Rams and Steven Jackson’s agent Eugene Parker held discussions late last night in regards to a contract extension. I would assume this is a good indication that both parties want to get a deal done, so don’t expect anything super dramatic.
