Steelers eyeing Culpepper and Leftwich
Aug. 10, 2008
After Charlie Batch went down with a busted collarbone in the Steelers’ pre-season game against the Eagles, the team has gone QB hunting.
Specifically, they have signed veteran free-agents Daunte Culpepper and Byron Leftwich. While neither have lit the joint up as of late, they are very solid backups should Big Ben go down.
Editor’s Note: The polls are just a joke. Don’t be offended, we are just playing.
UPDATE: We are now hearing (by way of the Post-Gazette) that the Steelers actually chose Leftwich over Culpepper. Culpepper is thusly still homeless.
