I did a few mock drafts last night and each time, Darren McFadden went around the 4th round. Just a little word to the wise, he isn’t even the starter. Right now, Justin Fargas is the clear-cut starter.
I’m not saying that McFadden won’t play a lot or that he won’t eventually become the starter, but don’t go all Reggie Bush 2006 on him. Bush was drafted in the first round in a lot of leagues that year and he didn’t do crap (while I’m at it, why were people taking him in the 2nd and 3rd rounds last night? Have you watched football for the past two years?).
They didn’t draft McFadden #4 overall so he could hold a clipboard or get JaMarcus Russell his favorite Gatorade, but the Raiders still haven’t determined who will get goal-line carries. I’m keeping an eye on Michael Bush in that scenario as well because he’s a big boy.
