How internet rumors get started, by Kevin Burnett

Aug. 28, 2008

Fourth-year linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys Kevin Burnett writes for a blog on the Dallas Cowboys’ website.  Kevin attended Tennessee University, but obviously not for educational purposes.  Read his blog articles and you will understand what I mean.

Anyway, Burnett wrote about how he has a hunch that something is in the works between the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals.  Specifically, Jerry Jones is trying to acquire the services of Anquan Boldin.  Here’s an excerpt:

“I am not starting anything but I just went and looked at the Cardinals website and I cant seem to find his name (Boldin) anywhere on the depth chart. WHY is that? Something is in the works with whom I don’t know but I bet every dollar I have that Jerry has his hand in the middle of it.”

Well, Boldin IS on the Arizona Cardinals’ depth chart and you can view it right here.  Straight from the Arizona Cardinal website.  Let’s hope Kevin Burnett’s play-making ability is better than his investigative reporting.

And if you want to read at a fourth grade level, please mark Kevin Burnett’s blog as a favorite.  It’s right up there with Terrell Owen’s children’s books.
