OTR gets MMA on your ASS

In a few minutes (or maybe it already happened), the UFC is announcing a new deal with heavyweight champion Randy Couture that will bring him back to the octagon.  With the announcement the stage will be set for Couture to face off against former WWF (WWE) wrestler (wrassler) Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 in Portland.  Not sure which Portland.

Furthermore, if Randy can absolutely destroy Lesnar (which will happen) the MMA world might get their wish, a Randy Couture-Fedor Emelianenko battle royale.  Not really a battle royale, but adding royale to the word battle makes it sound really awesome.  Awesome royale.  That just blew my mind.

Emelianenko is considered to be the best heavyweight fighter on planet earth.  He is the current World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts heavyweight champion and the last person to hold the PRIDE heavyweight championship.  His only blemmish on an almost perfect record (29-1) came from Japan’s Tsuyoshi Kohsaka who cut him seventeen seconds into their tournament match in December of 2000.
