Jaguar OT Richard Collier was shot last night while waiting in a car outside an apartment. He and former-Jag Kenneth Pettway were apparently waiting for two women to come out. They had been clubbing in the San Marco area of Jacksonville.

Collier, 26, is in critical condition right now and his injuries are said to be “life threatening.”

Update: Jags’ owner Wayne Weaver says that Collier is in critical, but stable condition:

“We’re shocked and deeply saddened by this morning’s news about Richard Collier,” Weaver said. “We have been informed that Richard has had surgery and he’s in critical but stable condition. The entire Jaguars family is praying for Richard and his family at this time.”
