Roy Williams getting shopped?

According to Adam Schefter of NFLN, several teams have said that the Lions are actively shopping WR Roy Williams.
Supposedly, when the Lions were run by Matt Millen, they proposed a straight-up trade with Dallas:
Roy Williams for DeMarcus Ware. Wow, that’s dumb.
The trade deadline is Oct. 14th.
