Isiah Thomas police report

Oct. 31, 2008

This story has been very bizarre and hopefully we will get all the answers shortly.  To catch us up to speed like Josh Howard in a drag race, on October 24th Isiah Thomas was taken to the hospital after overdosing on sleeping pills.  Apparently, all the sleeping pills he took while running the Knicks for five years caught up to him.  Furthermore, to cover up the issue Isiah insisted that it was his 17-year old daughter Lauren who was the one taken to the hospital.

“My daughter is very down right now. None of us are OK,” he told The Post.  It probably would have been better for him to address the media and not a post, but this is Isiah we are talking about so let’s keep it going.  I mean he couldn’t even teach Zach Randolph how to use ‘the post’ and now he’s talking to one?

Yesterday the police report for this incident came out indicating that the person who called 911 about an overdose at Isiah Thomas’ home believed the victim had stopped breathing.

In the report, a police officer says he went to Thomas’ home in the Purchase section of Harrison around midnight Oct. 23 in response to a report of “(blank) not breathing.”

“Upon my arrival I assisted (another officer) who was administering O2 to (blank) lying on the kitchen floor,” the report said.

(Blank) most likely equals Isiah Thomas.  Or they are referring to former Iowa State punter Troy Blankenship who teammates called ‘Blank.’  But why was Troy at Isiah’s house?  Well, I’m sure this question will be answered soon.
