Would anyone like to wager on who is going to win the World Series next year? Courtesy of BetOnline.com, the odds are out. I will give $200 Perry Dollars for you to wager on who you think will take it down next year (just place your bet/bets in comments). Put it all on one team or spread the juice all over. What does that even mean?

- The World Champion Philadelphia Phillies are at 6/1
- The New York Yankees for some reason are also at 6/1
- Pat Burrell to take it down himself is at 7/1
- The New York Mets are at 12/1
- The Montreal Expos are at 1,000,000/1
- And cleaning up the rear like a hot little nurse fresh out of college are the Washington Nationals at 300/1

I’d sure like to know where K Rod, CC and Peavy (if he goes anywhere at all) land before guessing.
I want to take the Mets but I have no faith in them. They are mental midgets.
I am actually going to take the Rays. They will have another year of experience and they have a really nice young rotation. All of it on the Rays.
There will be March 2009 World Series odds as well. Therefore, you can hedge this bet with another. I might go with the Burrell bet, but not sure yet.
