Well, well, well. What a game. I’m not sure where to even start with this one. Anyway, let’s look at the game:
What I liked…
-The defense played well for a while. That count for much?
-The Phillies won the World Series?
…and not so much…
-Donovan was brutal and I can understand wanting to try to get a spark by inserting Kolb. But, I thought it was the wrong move then and I think it’s the wrong move now. With McNabb, the Eagles were down 10-7. With Kolb, the Eagles were down 26-0. McNabb gave them a much better chance to win that game.
-While we don’t know what the Eagles have in Kolb yet, what was Andy thinking as he crashed and burned out there? What if Kolb can’t play? Personally, I think he’s going to be fine eventually, but no one knows.
-I think it’s a disgrace that Andy Reid did not tell McNabb to his face that he was benched at halftime.
-The Eagles lead the NFL in dropped passes. Awesome.
-Why is Westbrook running the ball in a blowout? He has a nasty ankle sprain, a bad knee and sore ribs.
-The Eagles just increased McNabb’s offseason trade value a ton. Good luck getting much for him now.
-Speaking of offseason moves, the Eagles did a great job with their offensive backfield coming into the season. They have one injury-prone stud, one nice backup that they never give the ball to, one guy who isn’t good enough to be a RB so they made him a FB, a FB that is a converted DT and a speedy third-down back that’s so good that he hasn’t dressed the last three weeks. Well done.
-If it wasn’t for Quintin Demps, the Eagles get shut out 36-0. WOW.
-This game was the low point of the Andy Reid era. At no other point have they looked so bad, with such little hope for improvement. I can’t remember seeing an offense go so far in the tank so quickly.

What I liked…
- we finally have a st play !
oh and:
The Eagles just increased McNabb’s offseason trade value a ton. Good luck getting much for him now.
sarcasm or do you mean decreased?
yeah but you guys have some good receivers out there. above average for sure!!!
-i told you so
Don’t you think they need to play Kolb from here on out, Micah? McNabb will not be back next year, they will have to cut him. He has about as much trade value as a 1980 Ford Pinto at this point. They need to develop Kolb, and decide if he is the future or not. If not, they need to go heavy after Cassell.
I agree with the Cassell point. He will be looking for a team to start for and deservingly so.
Why won’t Micah respond to me? Either here or in emails? I guess I’m not big time enough for him anymore?
Perry? Pav? Dahc?
Because Micah is home for Thanksgiving? Christ.
