Sean Avery has a not-so-subtle comment for Dion Phaneuf, who is dating former Avery girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert.

“I am really happy to be back in Calgary, I love Canada,” Avery told TSN on Tuesday. “I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about. Enjoy the game tonight.”

You can bet that Avery will make a mention of this while he’s on the ice with Phaneuf.

Then Phaneuf will talk to Cuthbert on the phone later and she’ll say, “no, that’s not true. Well…sort of….I mean…I don’t know! I mean, I never actually measured it. Just because he said that and….what?…..no I didn’t say it was bigger I said….no….that isn’t true! Oh…uh huh….yeah, you want to do this now?! Do you really want to do this now!?! No, you are a filthy harlet!”

Or something like that.
