Giants head coach Tom Coughlin sounds optimistic that Brandon Jacobs will play on Sunday night against the Panthers.

“Jacobs has practiced, really, all three days,” Coughlin said Friday. “Barring something that would be a setback –- which means we have to see tomorrow morning, basically –- and hopefully he will go.”
