As the Eagles get ready to travel across the country to play the NY Giants, some would say there is a jinx in the air. But most wouldn’t, because jinxes usually aren’t in the air. At least that’s not how most people would phrase it.
So anyway, DeSean Jackson is on the regional cover of SI this week. Is it a jinx? Or will the Giants conclude that they might as well not even try this week because no one can beat a team that has a player on the cover of SI? It’s a debate for the ages for sure.

I love hearing the Eagles fans at work whining about this. “Man, we’re screwed…they put an Eagle on the cover of S.I.!” Really? You’re gonna lose because of a magazine cover? Brilliant. But at least now they have an exuse if they lose. I can already hear the morons calling 610 the day after the game.

You might laugh at the idea that a magazine cover could lose the game, but Shaun Alexander, Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick might disagree. There is a certain cover that didn’t go so well for them. I just hope it helps Favre as much.
