Overrated Kansas City Chiefs RB Larry Johnson told 610 AM radio in Kansas City that he wants a “clean break” from the team. He doesn’t feel appreciated and thinks it’s time for both sides to move on.
How about that huge deal they gave you before the 2007 season, Larry? Were they appreciative of you then?
Here’s the deal, Larry. You aren’t nearly as good as you think you are. Your success in past years had much more to do with a dominant o-line and Tony Richardson at fullback than it did with your pure running talents. Willie Roaf, Brian Waters and Will Shields were absolute studs who opened ginormous holes for you to skate backwards through.
So relax, buddy. Enjoy your contract. Meet the new GM and coaches before you go deciding you don’t like it in KC anymore.

“Overrated” is not a term I would use for Larry. Herm did not use Larry’s strenghts for the team and constatly pulling him. The longer Larry is in the better he runs. Here is a talent that does not come around that often and from the begining was not used because Dick did not want to draft him first. Great talents comes with ego, most the time. Being drafted first then told not to suit up is just stupid. Give this gifted man a break, or should we get rid of talent such as J. Allan–AGAIN.

Larry Johnson is a douchebag. He is way overrated and won’t amount to anything more with the Chiefs or anywhere else. I’ll be glad to see him go.
I agree,Dick Vermeil knew exactly what kind of player/person L.J was and is.He is a good RB,but not elite.We have to move him before the season starts.Tony on the other hand,deserves to win,wherever that may be.I hope Tony stays here,but overall i wish him success.Larry can go f#* himself.

and id love for tony to stay…considering i want the chiefs to win as much as possible but on the flip…he deserves to win a superbowl….hes played at an elite level for over a decade…i wouldnt be mad at him if he went somewhere else…he deserves it
another thing thats bullshit…i dont know if its just me…but why do the most talented teams get the best schedules? the pats and the giants have the easiest schedules in the league, why is taht?
