Stephon Marbury is a horrible basketball player with a stupid tattoo on his head. This recent news about his contract getting bought out and him going to the Boston Celtics has no relevance to the NBA whatsoever. He sucks.
The Boston Celtics can win without him and they have. Actually, they are better suited to repeat as NBA champions with him not on the roster. He sucks.

It is quite possible that Stephon’s addition to the Celtics’ roster will now make the Cleveland Cavaliers the favorite to represent the East.
The only ‘breaking news’ about this story is from all the money being involved and that the New York Knicks were part of the deal. The Celtics are better off playing Sam Cassell.

here’s my whole take on “starbury” joining the celtics…
when KG and Ray Allen went to boston to join paul pierce, they were immediate favorites to win the nba title, they were deemed “the big three”, “the boston 3 party” and god knows what else. they were having a great first half of the season last year and then Sam Cassell got his contract bought out by the clippers to go to boston…and then they decide to talk Jamal Mashbun into coming out of retirement so he can get a ring. now to me those two joining the celtics halfway through the season showed me that they werent willing to put in real work to win a championship, they were willing to ride on the big 3’s back bc they were the ones with all the talent. and i know they were trying to give rondo a mentor and help strengthen the interior and improve on defense, but they seemed to be doing fine before those two got there. and to me that really spoke for their work ethic. insead of sticking it out with a team or going to a up and coming team to try to win a championship and but in REAL WORK, they decided to go to boston and basically ride KG’s, Pauls, and Rays back so they could win. Now i respect stephon as a basketball player, hes had a really hard way to go in NY, but i think all he joined boston for was to win a champoinship, he could have gone to an up and coming team and show them true veteran leadership and show them what its like to run a team, but instead he goes to boston bc he wants to win a ring right now. there is no work involved for him all hes gotta do is pass the ball to PP KG and RA. like i said i respect him as a basketball player, but where’s the drive? wheres the passion? wheres the determination?
