Mets ace Johan Santana is in danger of missing the start of the MLB season on April 6th due to an irritated triceps tendon.

“We have 162 games,” Santana said on Saturday. “What we have to accomplish takes 162 games. Everything starts April 6, if it’s going to be me or somebody else. It’s tough to say right now.”

The Mets will have him throw a light bullpen session on Sunday to see how he feels. Even though he said he feels tightness in it today. Whatever work for you, Mets.
