There is a new website called isupport7.com. It was put up by Michael Vick’s fiancee and is designed to rally support for Michael and get him reinstated. It looks like total crap and spews a bunch of nonsense. We copied and pasted the nonsense just for you:

I’m no fan of Micheal Vick.. But it sounds to me like people like you just need someone to hate. If we looked into the personal lives of some of YOUR favorite athletes.. Role models.. ect.. I’m sure you wouldn’t be so quick to give your two cents about a woman creating a website to help turn around the life of the provider for her family and kids… you should be just as ashamed of yourself as Micheal Vick. The man has paid his dues…way more than he probably needed to. We all make mistakes. And, we all seek forgiveness and a second chance from our circle of influence. 2a. You don’t know enough about criminal dogfighting cases to define what Vick got as a slap on the wrist… In comparison with other people prosecuted for dogfighting he got a pretty heavy sentence. (it’s a fact, personal ‘opinion’ aside) You don’t have to like it but it’s true.

Based on the charges he faced and the fact that he did not get hit with local charges (look up the name Gerald Poindexter…I’ll wait), yes, he got off easy. Regardless of that, he should never play in the NFL again.
I followed this case much closer than you did, because I follow the NFL much closer than you. Don’t worry, I’ll help you out, he got off easy. If you want to claim that no one else gets prosecuted, well that probably makes sense. But I’m not sure what that has to do with Vick.

I know about the state charges. I also know the feds ripped the case out of his hands… Something they have only done 1 other time (in my research) in our countries short history. Not to mention part of the plea deal was he wouldn’t face state charges or he couldn’t be tried… Poindexter did it anyway… (sure that somewhat made you happy) So the fact nothing happened there, I’m not surprised. There are tons of cases equal to or worse than Vicks where people received no time. The Boudreaux brothers.
Vicks punishment is heavy compared to everyone else who has faced the same charges. That is or isn’t a verifiable fact. I mean, you’re being a tad bit extreme with wishing him more trouble. He can either burn in hell like you want. Or he can come back and raise awareness about DF and be productive in society… I know the NFL is a privilege, but if he was a archeologist you wouldn’t say he couldn’t explore? The market will sort it out.

And I do agree, dogfighting goes largely unpunished which isn’t right. Vick’s biggest slip was probably letting a weed-selling cousin live at a house where this was occurring.
