Chris Harry of the Morning Call reports that Brian Westbrook did confirm that he had surgery on the knee that slowed him down towards the end of the 2008 season.

The Eagles have not yet announced that he had surgery. Westbrook said he has undergone an intense rehab process.

”It’s getting better all the time,’ he said.
