Holt visits Jags

March 26

torryholt22Former St. Louis Rams WR Torry Holt is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars, presumably to talk about playing for them. The Jags are desperate for receiving help. They cut Matt Jones. They cut Jerry Porter. And they have no plans of re-signing first-round bust Reggie Williams.

So yeah, they are a little thin. Especially when you consider none of those guys were very good to begin with.

I think Holt would be a great addition… At the right price of course. Jagaur fans have a little bitter taste in their mouths after the large money spent on Jerry Porter (a total bust for the Jags). Though maybe a bit less risky with Holt it is still a risk to consider. I think even with Holt the Jags need to address the WR position in the draft and try to snag a player with solid potential to go along with Holt, Walker, and Northcut. That means they may have to spend a pick for a WR early on in the draft if not the first round.
