Lebron James has announced he will play for the Miami Heat next year, he just announced on a live telecast on ESPN.
This ends one of the most anticipated free agent decisions in recent NBA history.
James will join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh whom Miami plans to sign.
“We are engaged in free agent negotiations with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. We intend to enter into player contracts with Dwyane and Chris once the moratorium period has ended,” said Miami Heat president Pat Riley in a statement.
