Jason Peters not close to sign or trade
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
If it seems like we are talking about the Bills constantly, it’s because we are. Marshawn Lynch, Roscoe Parrish, Terrell Owens, and don’t forget about Jason Peters.
Tim Graham of ESPN.com says that the Bills aren’t close to either trading or signing tackle Jason Peters. He is an elite tackle, but the Bills still [...]
Lynch suspended three games
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
Roger Goodell decided recently that he’d prefer that NFL players didn’t get arrested on weapons charges. How do we know? Well, he suspended Marshawn Lynch for three games after Lynch was arrested in California on gun charges back in February. A search of the car that Lynch was riding in produced a [...]
Bengals sign a Tank
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
How do the Bengals not know that when they sign people like this, everyone is looking at them laughing? The Bengals have signed former Bear and former Cowboy Tank Johnson.
Johnson was suspended eight games in 2007 for multiple violations of the Personal Conduct Policy. He also served two months in prison [...]
Martellus Bennett tackles the issues
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
The Dallas Morning News made a great decision in asking Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett to blog for them. He struggles a bit with the written word, but it shouldn’t matter because his keen insight on life will make up for it. So what does he blog about? Women farting. We’re serious. [...]

By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
It’s confirmed. The Oakland Raiders have signed 39-year old Jeff Garcia to a contract.
Stay tuned to other sports websites with access to better information to stay on top of this big story. Jeff Garcia played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006. He also played with the 49ers at one [...]
Reggie Williams arrested
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
Former Jacksonville Jaguars first-round pick and current free agent WR Reggie Williams was arrested Sunday night in Houston on felony drug charges. The substance is believed to be cocaine (he did play with Matt Jones after all) and he even had to be tasered, which means he was most likely fully cooperating with police. [...]
Garcia negotiating with the Raiders
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
NBC Bay Area has confirmed that free agent QB Jeff Garcia is negotiating with the Raiders to be their backup QB. A source tells the station that a deal is “close. It will probably get done.”
Garcia would be an excellent insurance policy if JaMarcus Russell doesn’t progress.
Jason Campbell is “pissed.”
By Micah Warren | 5 Comments
A league source tells PFT that despite doing and saying all the right things, Jason Campbell is “pissed” about the team’s attempt to land Jay Cutler.
We don’t think that Campbell has gotten an entirely fair shake so far in the pro’s due to the fact that he seems to have to learn a new offense [...]
Skins host Leftwich
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
This is interesting. The Redskins hosted former Pittsburgh Steeler, Atlanta Falcon and Jacksonville Jaguar QB Byron Leftwich on Friday. This comes days after the team tried to smooth over the situation with Jason Campbell after they failed to land Jay Cutler.
But for Leftwich, it was made clear that he would only [...]
Rams ink Boller
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
The St. Louis Rams signed former 2003 first-round pick Kyle Boller. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but we’re guessing the guaranteed money was in the $30 million range since he was on the market for so long.
“We are happy to add Kyle to our roster,” Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo [...]

Former first-round bust and made-for-NFL QB Todd Marinovich is back in trouble for not showing up to a drug rehab appointment or whatever they are called. The programs were court-ordered after Marinovich pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest two years ago.
A violation of his probation could result in three [...]

Cutler to the Bears!
By Micah Warren | 1 Comment
The Broncos have sent Jay Cutler and a fifth-round pick to the Bears in exchange for two first-round picks, a third rounder and QB Kyle Orton.
It’s not clear at this time whether or not Cutler represents an upgrade over the Bears’ current group of QB.
This makes all those media reports look great. The Jets, [...]
New Titans’ logo unveiled
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
This logo will supposedly be used on all merch, jerseys and other crap this season. Just thought we’d pass it along.
If you can’t tell, it’s designed to be a commemorative thing. Notice the Houston Oiler image there? Yeah, that’s because – and you may not know this – the Titans used [...]
Redskins moving Campbell?
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
Profootballtalk has been hearing rumors – and they emphasize rumors – that the Redskins are trying to move Jason Campbell. The QB was off to a very, very efficient start last year, but that faded just as the team did in 2008. He is signed through 2009 and we haven’t heard much in [...]
April Fool’s jokes that weren’t
By Micah Warren | 1 Comment
Our Twitter buddy Chris Iafolla posted a neat item today regarding April Fool’s Day. Most everyone does the “Donovan McNabb gets traded to Detroit Lions for Calvin Johnson” type crap. But he wrote up some things that should be jokes, but aren’t. Here is his list. And if you are a [...]
Browns issue statement on Stallworth
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
The Cleveland Browns PR department has issued a statement regarding the Donte Stallworth situation. And by situation, I’m speaking of the one where he got drunk and killed a guy with his car.
The statement doesn’t say which employee of the team is saying this. So we’ll assume that it’s Brady Quinn.
“The [...]
Jay Cutler officially on the trading block
By Perry | 2 Comments
John Clayton of ESPN.com is reporting that the Denver Broncos will stop playing their little gay games with quarterback Jay Cutler and make him available via trade.
After being unable to get Cutler to call them back over the last 10 days, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said today, “We will begin discussions with other teams in [...]
Plaxico to face jail time even with plea?
By Micah Warren | 2 Comments
According to the New York Times (which is always 100% correct in every instance), a plea deal for Plaxico Burress would indeed involve some jail time.
As you may or may not have heard, Burress shot himself in the leg in a nightclub in 2008 when the gun accidentally got loose in his sweatpants and went [...]
Eagles eyeing Boldin…
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
…but not the Boldin you want. A league source tells PFT that the Eagles are scheduled to workout D.J. Boldin, Anquan’s younger brother.
The good news is that D.J. wasn’t even invited to the Combine, which means he’s probably awesome. All kidding aside, he is a very big wideout from Wake Forest who ran [...]
Former Cowboy arrested

Former Dallas Cowboys LB Vinson Smith was arrested on a felony charge of breaking and entering, felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury and carrying a concealed weapon. Smith is now a bail bondsman and apparently he pistol whipped some dude he was trying to arrest.
The article tells the story pretty well, no [...]
Niners to get new duds

The 49ers plan to unveil their new uniforms on right before the NFL Draft on April 25th. The announcement will come at their free Draft party which runs from noon to 4 PM.
Supposedly, the new uni’s will look similar to the throwbacks they’ve been wearing in recent years. You mean….they’ll look [...]
Holt visits Jags
By Micah Warren | 1 Comment
Former St. Louis Rams WR Torry Holt is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars, presumably to talk about playing for them. The Jags are desperate for receiving help. They cut Matt Jones. They cut Jerry Porter. And they have no plans of re-signing first-round bust Reggie Williams.
So yeah, they are a [...]

A source tells Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports that the Vikings were the first team to inquire about the availability of Broncos sourpuss QB Jay Cutler.

Scheffler on the trading block?
By Micah Warren | 2 Comments
Sources tell Pro Football Weekly that the Denver Broncos have TE Tony Scheffler on the trading block. While the team isn’t hellbent on moving him, the right offer would send him packing.
The theory is that McDaniels wants to continue to ruin the team by getting rid of all the talented players to get a [...]
Cornell Green keeps it going with a mop handle
By Micah Warren | 2 Comments
Former Tampa Bay Buc and current Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Cornell Green is a little bit different than you and I. You and I aren’t necessarily inclined to hit a woman with an aluminum mop handle. But Cornell Green seems to have no problem with it.
Green was arrested at an airport on charges [...]
McCoy out of the first round?
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
According to SI.com, Pitt RB LeSean McCoy has likely fallen out of the first round of the NFL Draft:
LeSean McCoy/RB/Pittsburgh: McCoy’s highly anticipated workout turned out to be a pedestrian affair. He tipped the scales at 204-pounds, ran the 40 in the low 4.5s and posted a 28-inch vertical jump. Scouts have said McCoy is [...]

If he escapes jail time we’d be shocked.
